My name is Elena Miller, and I am the Public Adviser at the California Energy Commission. It is the California Energy Commission's mission to assess, advocate and act through public/private partnerships to improve energy systems that promote a strong economy and a healthy environment.
The California Energy Commission's highest responsibility is to the people of California and, therefore, all interactions with members of the public are of utmost importance to the Commission. As such, one of the priorities of the Public Adviser is to be pro-active in our outreach to a broad, cross-section of society; to engage the public and to ensure full and meaningful public participation.
